Since 1885 my
family has proudly carried on the tradition of hand craftsmanship, be
it in our beautiful restorations or the sound we achieve by tuning
your piano "by ear".
In this age
of electronics, it is said to be a "gift" to a pianist to find a tuner
who can actually hear the sound of an "in tune" piano without the use
of a machine.
Because of
our extensive knowledge and experience, we have, on many occasions,
been asked to teach classes to members of the Piano Technicians Guild.
Every
aspect of tuning, restoration and repair have been taught and continue
to be.
Also
included in the services of Alden's piano company are appraisals of
your piano for insurance purposes, complete restoration and monetary
value for your family estate.
